Hey everyone!

It's been quite the week!

The area is on fire! things area amazing here in priest river!

Monday night we had a super solid dinner appt and taught about family mission plans and the family we taught embraced it and are super excited!

Tuesday we Prepped the programs for the baptism of Billie and Chelynn coming up that weekend, we also met up with Bro Fletcher from spokane and had lunch. That evening we had the baptismal interviews and they both passed!

Wednesday we  did service for a family in the boonies and then went to an awesome lesson with the Martin family, It was great. We also had a really powerful lesson with Don, a la brother. His wife passed away fairly recently and we were able to help him understand that he could still be sealed to her even though she had passed away. It was great.

Thursday we had missionary correlation and weekly planning. We also gave the Feika's a church tour in preparation for their baptism coming this next weekend. It was fun to show them the baptismal font and get to know them.

FRiday we had district meeting and went to subway for lunch.  Then we visited the Geoghens (a family i knew at the beginning of my mission who moved out here) And a couple other families out by the geoghens.

Saturday we went way out to blanchard and were able to contact a few part member families and had really great visits with each of them. Then we went to westside pizza and spent the afternoon filling the baptismal font. We finished the day with the Charleston's baptism and it was a wonderful service. It was adorable when Chelynn got into the baptismal font, she was so happy she was bouncing. It was great.

Sunday we had their confirmations and I gave a talk in sacrament meeting, I talked about family home evenings. it went well and The members here told me i did good, so i guess i believe them!

I'm in Priest River Now!

It's a beautiful area and there's so much good work going on in the area, I'm having tons of fun with Elder Pendell!

The apartment is pretty strange. It used to be an attic, so it's pretty funny shaped and it has lots of little quorks about it. I really like it though and Elder Pendell and I have made it home. 

We have two families who are on date for baptism in the coming weeks. The Feika's, and the Charlstons. They are great! The Feikas, the husband is from Sierra Lione and went through some really hard times there, but is happy and grateful for Heavenly Father protecting him and leading him here to America. The Charleston's are a younger family, but their grandparents area active members and they live waaayyy out in the middle of nowhere.

The week was busy but super good! I got to enjoy some beautiful scenery and I've only met one person who wasn't nice. All the rest of the people have been super respectful and nice and it's been a lot of fun getting to know everyone here. Unfortunately, I'm short on time, so I'll have to get ya'll details later!

It's been a little bit of a different week. Unfortunately because of transfers i left my planner at home, so i can't remember  everything we did last week. Sooo in summary. We ate lots of pizza, had lots of good dinner appointments with awesome members, made a ton of balloon animals, prepped for a farmers market next week, which i will not be at, served at orphan acres helping fence off some area's for horses, taught amber and Gregory about christlike attributes, skyped home for mothers day and to top it all off, got the call to be transferred to Priest River Idaho, my new companion will be Elder Pendell, He's ridiculously funny and it's going to be a great transfer. Mother's Day Skype!

We enjoyed a little over an hour of talking to Bryce via Skype.  Everyone took a turn and told him what was going on here and he took a turn and told us about things there.  He looked healthy and happy.  We told him not to get too trunky as he finishes he last three months and he said he's been trunky since he got out on his mission, haha.  It was really nice to have the whole family together for an hour on Mother's Day!

Hey everyone!

It's been an exciting week!

Monday we spent the morning at Orphan Acres, we were helping take care of some noxious weeds in the new Pasture. That afternoon we spent at the church emailing and right as we were finishing up, the power went out, so we had to wait to turn all the computers off. it was a bit ridiculous. That evening we went and visited John and helped him prepare for a Priesthood lesson he's giving next week. It was a really nice visit and he's excited for his lesson.

Tuesday we had a couple lessons during the afternoon and then went to dinner with the Smith family, they're super nice and make some good food. Then we met up with Elder Keightly and Pauuvale to drive to the mission home on our temple trip. It was a nice drive. so pretty this time of year.

Wednesday morning we woke up bright and early and went to an endowment session. It was so nice and peaceful and it seems like i know everyone in the temple. I guess that happens sometimes though. For lunch Elder Toner and I met up with Melissa and Bill and went to taco bell. It was so fun to visit with them. They're getting married in the next week or two. Unfortunately, i wont be able to make it.

Thursday we went with Bro Schroeder to his daughters farm again and helped with herding their cows. It was a lot of fun. afterwards we went to a Chinese restaurant here in Moscow and had some really really good Sweet and sour chicken. It was great. We spent the evening helping a less active brother move and cleaning up his apartment. It was fun to spend some time with the Elders Quorum cleaning things up.

Friday We had district meeting and afterwards went to pizza hut as a district and had lunch. it was a lot of fun and i really enjoyed it. We spent the afternoon tracking down weed eaters we could borrow to help with a service project on Saturday. We had dinner with the Bacons, which is always way too much fun.

Saturday we helped a sister move out of her apartment and into a new one. It was mostly missionaries helping and so it was a lot of fun. Although it turned out to be one of those 5 HR "30 minute" moves. OH well, lots of fun! Afterwards we went out to Amber and Gregory's and helped clean up their yard using the weed eaters. it was a lot of fun and it looked great after we finished!

Sunday was fast Sunday, so we had a really great testimony meeting. A lot of people in the area have been experiencing deaths in their family's lately, so there were a lot of testimony's on the plan of salvation. it was great. Afterwards we visited Jan out in syringa and then went to dinner with the Ostvig Family. The Ostvig's are way too much fun and they have the funniest kids. It was very enjoyable and the food was great! Then we went to the Deobalds for a lesson with Kelly. She's struggling a bit, and so we could use extra prayers for her.
